Security & privacy
Your decks are yours
The short version, and the one that matters most: what you upload and what you generate stays yours. Below is what we can state plainly today — and, just as importantly, what we have not verified enough to put in writing yet.
Your content
- Never used for training. The documents you upload and the presentations you generate are not used to train AI models — not ours, and not a third party’s.
- Deletable at any time. You can delete your uploaded files and your presentations from your dashboard whenever you want.
- Yours to take with you. Every deck exports to a real .pptx. If you stop using PowerPresent, the files you already exported keep working — they are ordinary PowerPoint documents, not links back to us.
- Kept only as long as needed. We retain personal data and uploaded files only as long as necessary to run the service or to meet a legal obligation.
Your data
- Never sold. We do not sell, rent or trade your data with advertisers or any external party.
- Shared only where the service requires it — a payment processor, privacy-compliant analytics, or a valid legal request. The categories are itemised in the Privacy Policy.
- Access, correction and deletion on request. You can ask us to access, update or delete your information.
Payments
- Handled by Stripe.Subscription and bundle payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details are entered on Stripe’s infrastructure, not collected by our marketing site.
- Refundable. See the refund policy for the window and what it covers.
What we are not claiming yet
Plenty of security pages assert things nobody has checked. These are the items we are working through with engineering; when each is confirmed it moves up the page with specifics attached. Until then we would rather show you the gap.
- Not yet documentedEncryption specifics — in transit and at rest, and which components each covers.
- Not yet documentedData deletion turnaround: how quickly a deletion request is completed end to end, including backups.
- Not yet documentedA complete, published subprocessor list with each provider’s role and region.
- Not yet documentedFormal compliance certifications. We hold none we can point at today, and we are not going to imply otherwise.
Found something?
If you believe you have found a vulnerability, email hello@powerpresent.ai with enough detail to reproduce it. We will confirm receipt and keep you updated on the fix. Please give us a reasonable window to resolve it before disclosing publicly.
